Our "Fineset" Bristle Pattern uses a phenolic adhesive to bond individual strands of 6:12 Nylon to our metal core. This phenolic adhesive forms a solid, non-porous base that rejects foreign contaminates. This eliminates build-up at the base of the bristles and also stops bacteria formation. The encapsulated arbor completely rejects water seepage and is impervious to most liquids and chemicals. The full uniform density optimizes performance, extends life, and reduces contamination by eliminating openings that typical coil brushes have.
One of our popular innovations has the multi-projection trim brush used to clean and sort fruit. The several tier levels of bristle projection, cut spirally around the diameter of the brush carry the fruit in a rolling action that cleans both stem and base. As the cleaning action takes place, the sorting of each size is automatically done by specially placed toggles that automatically select the size and choose the fruit by size. It is the delicate balance of bristle density, stiffness and several projections that make the "fineset "brush the best choice for fruit cleaning and sorting.
